Sophtha’s Debut in Bulgaria at the Ophthalmology Conference in Burgas - October 2024
It’s been a busy autumn for us here at Sophtha and one of this season’s highlights has been our participation for the first time at the The National Congress of the Bulgarian Scientific Society of Ophthalmology. We are beyond humbled and excited about the heartfelt welcome we have received and we are grateful for the opportunity to have met such extraordinary professionals.
Grateful for the feedback
As it was our first time introducing Sophtha, our electronic medical records (EMR) solution, to the Bulgarian ophthalmology community, the expectations have been huge, at least from our side and we are happy to say that the feedback we have received and the professionals we have met have managed to make us feel like we belong.
The Bulgarian ophthalmology community is open to new trends when it comes to new technologies and digital transformation. Improving their processes in terms of efficiency, streamlining their daily practice and simplifying the regulatory compliance have been the hot topics we have approached the most. And this means a lot for us as developers of an EMR solution, as we are committed to making sure that our platform continues to meet the needs of ophthalmologists worldwide.
Integrating Sophtha with NHIS
A major focus for us is integrating Sophtha with the Bulgarian National Health Information System (NHIS). This will ensure a smoother workflow for clinics and it will make it easier to stay compliant with local regulations. As this is still a work in progress, we will keep our Bulgarian partners updated on our progress as we move forward with this important step.
Entering the Bulgarian market is a big step for us at Sophtha, and one we’re really excited about. We believe our EMR solution can make a real difference for ophthalmology practices here. The healthcare system in Bulgaria is changing, and we see a great opportunity to help by offering a platform that’s easy to use and designed specifically for ophthalmologists. Bulgarian version of Sophtha’s website coming soon
As we want to remain connected, we are working on launching a Bulgarian version of our website. Our investment with the Bulgarian ophthalmology community is very serious and we are looking to form long-term partnerships where we will be the main support for the community’s technology needs. So having our website adapted to Bulgarian language comes as a natural next step in our cooperation.
